
BU Finishes Fourth at PL Championship

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Paced by three top-20 finishes, the Boston University men's cross country team finished fourth at the Patriot League Championship on Saturday at Lehigh University's Cross Country Course.
BU, projected to finish fifth in the preseason poll, scored 97 points, just five behind third-place Army. Navy won the event with 30 points.
Junior Alec Olson led the Terriers with a 12th-place performance. He crossed the finish line with a time of 24:27.10. Classmate Kevin Thomas was 15th with a time of 24:30.30, followed by senior Ben Ravetz (24:39.40) in 20th.
Two other Terriers were in the top 30, as sophomore Mitch Russo (24:58.20) and junior Paul Gennaro (24:58.40) were in 27th and 28th place, respectively. Sophomore Matti Groll also had a top-50 time, coming in 48th place (25:37.20).
Senior Alex Civitano had a time of 25:49.00), followed by sophomore Ethan Homan (26:10.00), senior Matt Solomon (26:15.00), junior Syian Srikumar (26:19.10), senior John McKeon (26:32.30) and freshman Liam O'Connell (26:33.30).
The Terriers will return to action on Nov. 14 at the NCAA Northeast Regional.
