After being named Women’s Swimmer of the Meet at the Patriot League Swimming and Diving Championships, sophomore Stephanie Nasson has been named the GoTerriers.com Student-Athlete of the Week.
The highlight of Nasson’s performance occurred on the final day of the four-day competition when she set a Patriot League and championship meet record with a time of 16:20.32 to win the 1650 freestyle, knocking over seven seconds off of the BU record she set at the 2013 ECAC Championships
Earlier in the meet, Nasson bested her own school record in the 500 freestyle by clocking in at 4:47.42 to capture her second victory of the Patriot League Championships.
The Wrentham, Mass., native also claimed second in the 200 freestyle and was a part of BU’s record-breaking 800 freestyle relay team. She finished with the most points (57) of all female competitors.
