
Glincman Earns Patriot League Diver of the Week Honors

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – For the second consecutive week, and fifth time this season, senior Chelsea Glincman of the Boston University women’s swimming and diving team was named Patriot League Diver of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon.
The North Brunswick, N.J., native earned two of BU’s 13 first-place finishes in their 204-128 victory over rival Boston College last Friday night in Chestnut Hill, Mass.
The senior earned her fourth victory of the season from the 1m board with a total of 267.15 points and followed that up with a score of 271.42 points on the 3m board to capture her second victory of the day.
Glincman has placed in the top two five times this season on the 1m board and has placed either first or second from the 3m board in all six dual meets.
Claiming her league-leading fifth Diver of the Week honor of the season, Glincman also took home the award on Oct. 7, Nov. 4, Dec. 9, and Jan. 28.
In addition to Glincman’s weekly honor, fellow Terriers Mun Hon Lee and Danielle Yoon earned honorable mention accolades from the Patriot League. Lee led the BU men with three individual victories (100 back, 200 back 200 IM) while Yoon paced the BU women with a trio of victories (400 IM, 200 fly, 200 breast).
The Terriers return to action on Friday (Feb. 14) for the start of the two-day feBRUINvite hosted by Brown in Providence, R.I.
