BOSTON – Sophomore Stephanie Nasson of the Boston University women’s swimming and diving team has qualified for the NCAA Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships which will be held March 20-22 in Minneapolis, Minn.
Nasson will make her NCAA debut in the 500 and 1650 freestyle races at the championship event after winning both races at the Patriot League Championships last month.
Nasson left her mark in BU's first year in the Patriot League by setting a new school, league and meet record in the 1650 freestyle with a time of 16:20.32.
The sophomore also set a new BU record while winning the 500 freestyle in 4:47.42. She was named Women’s Swimmer of the Meet for her efforts.
