9 Terriers Named IRA All-Academic Recipients

CENTERVILLE, Mass. – Nine members of the Boston University men’s rowing team have received the 2014 Intercollegiate Rowing Association All-Academic distinction, the organization announced.
Seniors John Szramiak, Justin Rau, Matt Lenhart, Moritz Franz and Thomas Morrison were honored along with junior Thomas Weaver and sophomores John Carter, Maggie Read and Matt Maginnis.
For a student-athlete to be eligible, he or she must be at least a sophomore in standing and completed one full year at his or her respective institution; maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.35 or higher; earn an institutional letter and compete at the 2014 Intercollegiate Rowing Association Regatta.
