The Boston University men’s and women’s cross country teams have announced their schedule for the 2014 season, consisting of five races across five different states.
The season will begin on Sept. 6th when the two teams travel to the Nassaney Invitational at Bryant University in Smithfield, R.I. After almost a month off, the Terriers will remain in Boston and compete in the New England Championships at Franklin Park on Oct. 11. The women’s team has boasted the individual champion in that event in each of the last three years, including Rosa Moriello in 2013.
On Oct. 24, the Terriers will travel to the CCSU Mini Meet in New Britain, Connecticut for their final tune-up before the Patriot League Championship on Nov. 1 at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pa. The women's squad is the unanimous favorite to defend its 2013 title while the men were selected to finish fifth. Rosa Moriello enters the race as defending individual champion and will be joined by three other All-League selections from a year ago.
BU will conclude its season on Nov. 14 at the NCAA Northeast Regional at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx, New York.
