BOSTON - The Boston University women's cross country team competed at the New England Championships on Saturday at Franklin Park.
BU finished 11th in the 39-team field thanks to a pair of top-50 finishes. Senior Shelby Stableford led the Terriers with a 25th-place finish, crossing the line in 18:21.2. Freshman Courtney Breiner was next in 41st place (18:32.4).
Junior Hallie Armstrong took 54th with a time of 18:40.8, followed by freshman Jamie Grossman (18:58.8) in 83rd. Freshman Cara Moyer (19:12.1), senior Erin Pierce (19:21.7) and sophomore Alexia Zawadzke (20:15.0) rounded out the Terrier contingent.
The Terriers will have one more race prior to the Patriot League Championships when they compete at the CCSU Mini Meet on Oct. 23.
