Terriers Conclude Season at NCAA Northeast Regional

BOSTON - The Boston University women's cross country team closed its 2015 season on Friday at the NCAA Northeast Regional hosted at Franklin Park.
The Terriers finished 26th in the 38-team field with a score of 684. Freshman Courtney Breiner led BU with a time of 22:38.0 in the 6K race, good for 103rd in a 256-harrier field. Junior Hallie Armstrong was next with a time of 22:48.5, followed by freshman Jamie Grossman (22:57.4).
Senior Shelby Stableford, who was an Academic All-Patriot League selection, crossed the finish line in 23:06.3. Sophomore Alexia Zawadzke (24:11.1), freshman Elin Wolker (24:27.9) and senior Erin Pierce (24:37.1) rounded out the BU contingent.
The Terriers will begin their indoor track & field season on Dec. 5 at the Track & Tennis Center when they host the BU Opener.
