Terriers Wrap Up Day 2 of Terrier Invite

BOSTON - The Boston University swimming and diving team finished up day two of the Terrier Invitational on Saturday night. The women's team maintained its second-place standing while the men's squad is currently ranked fifth.

Mika Spencer led the women's team with a second-place finish in the 200 free (1:50.97). Lauren Dixon (1:51.82) and Stephanie Nasson (1:54.45) also competed in the 200 free Championship Final and placed fifth and eighth, respectively.

Daniel Andronov had the best finish on the men's side, taking second place in the 100 breaststroke Championship Final (55.17), which beat the previous pool record by .05 seconds.

Erin Nabney bounced back from a tough race in the preliminary round of the 100 breast to win the Consolation Final in personal record time, 1:04.17. Had she qualified for the Championship Final, her time would have placed second overall.

Danielle Yoon (4:26.62) and Garrett Chin (3:55.43) both took third in the Championship Final of the 400 individual medley while Julimar Avila (56.11) and Mun Hon Lee (49.59) each placed fourth in the Championship Final of the 100 butterfly.

BU finishes competition in the Terrier Invitational on Sunday, beginning with preliminary races at 10 a.m.
