CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - After tallying 15 points in a 78-74 victory over New Hampshire, Boston University men's basketball freshman Kyle Foreman has been named the Lids Team Sports Patriot League Rookie of the Week for the third time this season, the conference announced Monday afternoon.
The Clyde Hill, Wash., native went 5-of-9 from the field to reach double figures for the first time in a month while adding a game-high four assists and five rebounds.
His honor gives BU three conference Rookie of the Week awards before the month of January for the first time since 2006-07 when Corey Lowe ('10) collected two and Carlos Strong ('10) earned the other as members of the America East.
Foreman enters the week ranked sixth in the PL in assists at 4.5 apg while averaging 9.9 ppg.
