Ten Named to All-Patriot League Team

BOSTON-Ten Terriers Earned All-Patriot League distinction for their performances at the PL Championship last week, the conference announced on Wednesday afternoon.
The men's team boasted five student-athletes on the first team, including Men's Swimmer of the Meet Connor Stuewe, who won both the 100 and 200 backstroke and set school, league and meet records in both events. Mun Hon Lee, who tallied a BU-leading 48 points, also earned first-team recognition along with Garrett Chin, Quinn Smith, who set a school record in the 200IM, and Andy Vazquez.
On the women's side, 3-meter Diving Champion and Women's Diver of the Meet Lizzie Tillo and 1650 Freestyle Champion Stephanie Nasson earned spots on the First Team.
Adam Gross was the lone Terrier on the men's All-Patriot League second team and fellow diver Kalli Roebelen and freestyle swimmer Alexsa Savage were named to the women's list.
Individuals who win events at the Patriot League Championships automatically qualify for the All-League first team, while runner-up finishers are guaranteed a second-team spot. Both teams are back-filled by points, meaning a second-team member can move up to the first team if they accumulated enough individual points over the course of the four-day event.
A total of 76 student-athletes earned All-League laurels, 38 in both genders. The men had 18 first team selections and 20 on the second team while the women had 19 on each.
