Nasson, Puchi Named to Academic All-PL Team

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - Stephanie Nasson and Cole Puchi each earned a spot on the Swimming and Diving Academic All-Patriot League team, the conference announced on Monday morning.
Both Nasson and Puchi were named to the list, which includes just 10 student-athletes each for the men's and women's teams, for the second straight year.
Nasson, a Health Science major with a 3.45 GPA, swam to back-to-back titles in the 1650 freestyle at the Patriot League Championship, earning her First Team All-PL recognition. She also took second place in the 500 freestyle and tallied the most points of any Terrier at the meet.
Puchi, the 2014 PL Swimming and Diving Scholar-Athlete of the Year, scored points for Boston U. in both the 100 and 200 freestyle and has a 3.70 GPA in Business Administration and Management.
To be eligible for the Scholar-Athlete of the Year award and the Academic All-Patriot League Team, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average and be a starter or key player in his/her sport. Freshmen or students in their first academic year at their school are not eligible for the honor.
