Smyth Announces Swimming And Diving Captains

BOSTON - Six Terriers were voted team captains for the 2015-16 swimming and diving season, head coach Bill Smyth announced on Thursday. The men's and women's teams each voted three teammates into the leadership position.
For the men's team, juniors Tanner Cridland and Mun Hon Lee will lead the swimmers while freshman Eric Mitchell was chosen as the captain of the divers. Cridland recently returned from the NCAA Student-Athlete Leadership Forum where he learned new skills to be an effective leader. Lee was BU's top-point scorer at the Patriot League Championship this season.
On the women's side, juniors Stephanie Nasson and Bianca Tocci will lead the swimmers while Patriot League Female Diver of the Year Lizzie Tillo, a freshman, will be the captain of the divers. Nasson led the women's team in points at the Patriot League Championship in February.
"Our team captains for the 2015-2016 season represent our teams' commitment to prepare to win, as well as our commitment to each other", Smyth said. "We are all extremely excited to help move the program forward as students, athletes and citizens of the university community."
