
Veselovsky Sets Two PRs at UConn Open

STORRS, Conn. - In the final meet of her career, Anna Veselovsky set two lifetime records in the 200 IM and 100 fly to lead selected members of the Boston University swimming and diving team on Saturday at the UConn Open.
The event marked the final career meet for both Veselovsky and Bianca Tocci, who each competed in three events on the day.
Veselovsky finished in fourth with a personal best time of 2:12.89 in the 200 IM and in 12th in the 100 butterfly with a time of 1:00.26, her fastest swim ever. The senior also competed in the 100 free and finished it in 55.78 seconds.
Tocci competed in the 50 free (24.94), 100 fly (58.63) and 200 free (2:26.95) while Marisa Reidemeister placed sixth in the 200 IM (2:14.92) and 17th in the 100 fly (1:02.51).
Matt Falcone was the lone representative from the men's team. He took fifth in the 100 breaststroke (1:00.66) and sixth in the 200 breaststroke (2:28.55).
