2016 graduate Stephanie Nasson swam the 800 meter free at Olympic Trials
OMAHA, Neb. - Stephanie Nasson, a 2016 graduate of the Boston University women's swimming and diving team, competed in the 800 meter freestyle at the Rio Olympic Trials on Friday afternoon, placing sixth in her heat.
This is the second consecutive Olympic Trials that Boston University has been represented by both a female and male swimmer. Nasson finished the long-course race with a time of 8:54.57 where only the top-eight competitors advance to Sunday night's finals. She competed in the sixth heat of the day and finished sixth overall in the race.
