BOSTON - The Boston University women's rowing team, along with several BU alumni, competed in Day 1 of the 54th Head of the Charles Regatta on Saturday. The day was highlighted by a 18th-place finish among collegians in the Club 4 race.

HOW IT HAPPENED – WOMEN
Also competing on Saturday, the women's openweight rowing team competed in the Club 4 race. Coxed by freshman Olivia White and stroked by classmate Rachael Chiao, the Terriers finished 18th among collegians and 21st overall with a time of 20:04.53 in a field of 52 boats.
Earlier in the day, the BU Women's Alumni 8 boat finished 14th with a time of 18:45.60.

The men's, women's and lightweight women's rowing teams will compete in Day 2 of the HOCR regatta on Sunday.
