
Women's Swimming & Diving Finishes Strong to Win Terrier Invitational

BOSTON - For the first time since 2010, the Boston University women's swimming and diving team has won the Terrier Invitational as it came out on top against seven other schools in the 14th edition of the program's annual three-day meet.
Brittany Steinfeld led off the final day with a victory in the 1650 free, while the 400 free relay team of Julimar Avila, Erin Nabney, Sydney Brown and Sydney Lee closed out the meet with a first-place finish. Frances Leung and Sydney Lee finished second and third in the 100 free, while Carly Soares and Erin Nabney also finished second and third in the 200 breast, respectively. Avila and Nikko Bjontegard finished sixth and seventh in the final individual event of the night, the 200 fly, before the 400 free relay team sealed the team victory.
BU will have a week of rest before returning to the pool for a dual meet in Storrs, Connecticut against UConn and Williams.
