BOSTON - Returning to the confines of Case Gym for the first time in nearly three weeks, the Boston University women's basketball team could not keep up with Harvard, falling 66-39 on Tuesday night.

- Nia Irving netted the first four points before a Riley Childs layup with 2:46 left in the first cut an early deficit to 8-6.
- The Terriers struggled from the floor in the second quarter, as Maggie Pina and Katie Nelson accounted for the lone four points of the frame.
- Harvard used a 12-0 run to close the first half, entering the break with a 26-14 lead.
- BU remained cold, connecting on just 3-of-18 in the third while Harvard staked a 49-22 advantage heading into the final quarter.
- Pina was a bright spot for the Terriers in the second half, leading the team with 10 points.
- Pina posted a season-high 12 points, leading the Terriers in scoring for the first time this season.
- Liz Shean made her collegiate debut, finishing with two points and one steal.
- Childs collected a team-best seven rebounds and also led BU with a pair of blocks.
- The Terriers will have eight days off from competition before heading to California for a two-game road trip.
- BU will first matchup against UC Davis on Thursday, Dec. 5 before visiting Cal on Saturday, Dec. 7.
