Terriers Narrowed by Bryant, UConn

BOSTON - Hosting UConn and Bryant for a double-dual on Saturday, the upperclassmen of the Boston University men's swimming & diving team highlighted the day as the Terriers dropped both decisions. Bryant just barely edged BU, 148-146, while the Huskies came away with a 179-112 result.
Stuart Vickery led the Terriers with a pair of victories, winning both the 200 fly (1:51.99) and the 100 fly (50.73). Tommy Hagerty picked up the lone other individual victory as he captured the 1000 free (9:32.07). Darren Ty put forth a strong effort, placing second in the 100 breast (57.85) and third in both the 200 breast (2:07.83) and 200 IM (1:56.24).
BU will close out the fall semester with the three-day Terrier Invitational, starting Friday, Nov. 22 at 10 a.m.
