Women's Cross Country Places 14 on PL Academic Honor Roll

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - Fourteen members of the reigning Patriot League champion Boston University women's cross country team were named to the 2019 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, the conference announced on Tuesday.
BU has placed at least 10 harriers on every Patriot League Academic Honor Roll since the Terriers joined the conference seven years ago.
Senior Abigail Gugel not only succeeded on the course but she was exceptional in the classroom as well. The 2019 Patriot League Runner of the Year and 2019 Women's Cross Country Scholar-Athlete of the Year earned a 4.0 grade-point average as a biology major. In addition, Second Team All-Patriot League selections Corinne Batsu and Joceline Wind earned a spot on the Academic Honor Roll.
To be eligible for the Fall Academic Honor Roll a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 GPA in the fall semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's seven fall championship sports, including men's and women's cross country, field hockey, football, men's and women's soccer and volleyball.
