BOSTON – The season-opening men's and women's basketball series featuring Patriot League rivals Boston University and Holy Cross has been pushed back to January 4-5, the two schools announced Monday morning.
 
Originally scheduled for January 2-3, the home and away contests were postponed two days due to Boston University's testing schedule and cadence resulting from the holiday break.
 
The Terrier women will now host Holy Cross on Monday, Jan. 4, at 2 p.m., while the defending Patriot League champion men visit the Crusaders for a 2 p.m. tip. The programs will swap locations on Tuesday, Jan. 5, for another 2 p.m. start time.
