Cross Country Teams Announce 2020 Captains

BOSTON - Scotti Hamilton, Tommy Quinn, Stephanie Forbes and Veronica Kriss will serve as captains of the Boston University men's and women's cross country teams, head coach Paul Spangler announced on Monday.

"One of the keys to having a successful team is great leadership," Spangler said. "We have been fortunate to have excellent leaders in the past and this year is no exception."

All four harriers have been integral parts of the Terriers' success over the last three years. Hamilton, a two-time Patriot League Academic Honor Roll selection, joined Quinn, a three-time PL Academic Honor Roll member, to help the Terriers finish second at the 2018 Patriot League Championship. Forbes and Kriss, both of whom have been named to the PL Academic Honor Roll three times, helped BU win the 2019 Patriot League Championship, one of the squad's three first-place finishes of the season. Kriss is also president of Boston University's chapter of Athlete Ally and is SAAC's Athlete Ally representative.
