HOW IT HAPPENED
- Esposito canned a three-pointer to give BU a brief 5-4 edge in the opening minutes, but the Tigers responded with a 13-3 run midway through the first to take a 17-8 lead after 10 minutes.
- Princeton scored the first four points of the second, but Johnson responded with a straightaway three-pointer to close the gap to 21-11.
- As the Terrier defense held Princeton scoreless for over 2:45 in the second, BU got to within 22-15 as Durant found senior Chiara Tibbitt underneath for the right-handed finish.
- Down 25-15 approaching the minute-mark until halftime, freshman Alex Giannaros split multiple defenders with a euro step layup through the paint. Princeton took a 29-18 advantage into the locker room.
- On a baseline out-of-bounds play, Esposito lowered her shoulder to get free for a layup while drawing contact to cut the deficit to 31-21 two minutes into the third.
- Princeton ripped off an 13-1 run over the final 5:17 of the third to extend their lead to 50-26.
- BU started the fourth with five straight points as Durant converted a layup, then Johnson intercepted a Tiger pass and sank a driving layup with contact, completing the old-fashioned, three-point play.
- From there, Princeton capped the game on an extended 19-9 spurt.
- The Terriers were limited to 33 percent shooting, including 21 percent from downtown.
- BU limited Princeton to 37 percent shooting in the first half, but the Tigers hit 15 of their final 26 shots.

- Esposito has started the season 5-for-9 from deep.
- With her 50 percent shooting performance, Johnson is 45-for-97 (.463) from the field in her last eight games, dating back to Feb. 17.
