
Caitlin Weimar Joins Women's Basketball Roster

BOSTON - The Boston University women's basketball team will be bolstered by Caitlin Weimar, who will be transferring from Marist to join the Terriers for the 2021-22 season, head coach Melissa Graves announced Monday.
Weimar, the 2021 MAAC Co-Rookie of the Year arrives to Boston after a phenomenal season at Marist. The native of Cortlandt Manor, New York started in 19-of-20 contests and ranked second on the team in rebounding (7.6) and fourth in scoring (8.6). Additionally, she posted the top shooting percentage in the MAAC with a .486 clip. Additionally, she accounted for most than half of the team's blocks (38) and scored in double figures eight times.
Along with sharing the Rookie of the Year title, she garnered MAAC All-Rookie Team and MAAC All-Championship Team honors.
Weimar will be eligbile to compete immediately.
