
BU Wraps Season at NCAA Northeast Regional Championship

BRONX, N.Y. – The Boston University men's cross country concluded its season at the NCAA Northeast Regional Championship on Friday. The Terriers placed 14th in a 33-team field in the 10K race.
BU scored 425 points and was the second Patriot League team to finish the event with Army West Point being the first conference finisher in 12th place. Harvard took second and Syracuse won the event with 65 points.
The first Terrier to finish was junior Matthew Mason with a 31:19.8, good for 80th. Senior Foster Malleck was right behind with a 31:20.9 to take 81st and was closely followed by a pair of freshmen. Parker Schneider (31:22.8) and Freddy Collins (31:26.4) finished in 84th and 87th, respectively.
Concluding the scoring for BU was grad student Marcel Aubry (31:32.8) in 93rd. Also racing for BU were senior Kevin Murphy (31:55.5) and grad student Aksel Laudon (31:59.5).
The Terriers will prep for the indoor track season which begins on Dec. 3 with the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener at the Track & Tennis Center.
