Walter Whyte has been named the Patriot League Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday afternoon.
Whyte averaged 23.0 ppg and 8.0 rpg while shooting 59.3 percent from the field and 50.0 percent in 3-point territory to collect his second career award and first since the start of the 2019-20 season.
The three-time All-PL honoree started off with a career-high 27 points and career-tying 13 rebounds to help BU defeat Northeastern, 72-63, last Monday. A native of New Haven, Connecticut, he followed up with a team-high 19 points at UConn.
On the defensive end, he posted two blocks against Northeastern and contributed two steals in each game as well.
The Terriers will next host Johnson & Wales later Monday night with a 7 p.m. tip.
