Men's Rowing Wraps Pac-12 Challenge against No. 2 Washington

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – The No. 11 Boston University men's rowing team concluded its weekend out west at the Pac-12 Challenge by recording its fastest time of the weekend in the second varsity eight's race against No. 2 Washington.
The boat, which was stroked by freshman Bowen De Gouw and coxed by senior William Mulhall, completed the 2,000-meter course in 5:52.33, behind the Huskies' 5:44.95.
The first varsity eight, which was stroked by senior Harrison Steck and coxed by sophomore Matt Murphy, completed the course with a time of 5:54.26, behind Washington's 5:38.46.
The team will take the next two weekends off before racing again at home on the Charles River against Wisconsin for the Jablonic Cup on Saturday, April 30.
