Women's Swimming & Diving Finishes Second at Terrier Invite

Freshman Han Hoang competed a sweep of the freestyle sprints following a win in the 100 on Sunday in a time of 50.17 seconds, a personal best.
In the 200-yard butterfly, sophomore Haley Newman was runner-up with a time of 2:03.41.
Two swimmers swam personal bests in third-place finishes as freshman Izzy Valantiejus opened Sunday's evening session with a 17:28.08 in the 1650-yard freestyle and senior Ava Berzanski swam her best 200-yard breaststroke in a time of 2:20.97.
Northeastern won the team title with 1605 points while BU recorded 1492. Massachusetts (1223) and Fairfield (913) took third and fourth, respectively, and Bryant, which only brought divers, totaled 69 points.
The Terriers will take a week off from competition before returning to action on Dec. 2 with a road dual at Holy Cross that will start at noon.
