AMHERST, Mass. - The Boston University men's swimming & diving team earned its first dual win of the season on Saturday afternoon with a 158-141 triumph at Massachusetts and senior Justin Lee set the pool record in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 20.35 seconds.

Graduate student Kyle Falkstrom earned three wins on the day, finishing first in the 100- and 200-yard breaststroke with times of 55.93 seconds and 2:03.49, as well as the 200-yard individual medley (1:53.99).

Senior Dolan Grisbaum and sophomore Tony Ponomarev collected two wins each. Grisbaum touched the wall first in the 1,000-yard freestyle (9:45.68) and the 500 free (4:42.47) while Ponomarev swept the 100- and 200-yard backstroke with times of 50.87 and 1:51.12.

Freshman Jonathan Tsang took first place in the 200-yard butterfly in a time of 1:53.31.

The Terriers also came out on top in the 200 medley relay as Ponomarev, Falkstrom, Lee and sophomore Ben Cho posted a time of 1:32.05.

BU will take next week off before returning to action at the Terrier Invite on Nov. 17-19.
