
Terriers Place Third at Season Opener

ATTLEBORO, Mass. – The Boston University men's cross country team kicked off its season at the Rothenberg XC Invitational on Friday. The Terriers competed in the 6K and placed third overall.
BU was led by sophomore Tucker Bowerfind who placed eighth overall with a time of 18:57.0. He was followed by fellow sophomore Moritz Ebbeskotte in 13th with a time of 19:18.4. Senior Will Loggia (19:19.0) was right behind for the Terriers, placing 14th.
Also racing for BU were freshman Daniel Demonte (19:33.5), sophomore Glenn Bell (20:05.0) and senior Nate Somers (20:07.3).
The Terriers will be back in action on Sept. 16 when they travel to compete at the UMass Dartmouth Invite.
