Starting with the continued rivalry against Northeastern, BU will play 13 non-conference contests before its traditional 18-game league slate. The Terriers will play programs from seven different conferences: the Atlantic 10, America East, Ivy League, MEAC, NAC, NEC and the CAA.
The Terriers will open their 115th season at crosstown rival Northeastern on Monday, Nov. 6, and then travel to both Rutgers (Nov. 10) and defending MEAC champion Howard (Nov. 14) as part of the Scarlet Knight Classic. BU will conclude the three-game event by hosting Bryant in the home opener at Case Gym.
After playing Davidson (Nov. 21) on the road for the first time since the 1955-56 season, the Terriers will return home to host Vermont State University-Lyndon on Nov. 26. They will next pay a visit to UAlbany (Nov. 29) and Sacred Heart (Dec. 2).
Three of the final five non-conference games will take place at home with BU first welcoming Maine on Dec. 6. After visiting Wanger (Dec. 10) for the first time since 1981-82 and then Dartmouth (Dec. 13), the Terriers will end the year by welcoming UMass Lowell (Dec. 22) and defending NEC champion Merrimack (Dec. 30) to The Roof.
The new year and Patriot League play will begin on Jan. 3, 2024, at Navy with BU then starting the home slate against Lafayette on Jan. 6. In the final regular season contest, the Terriers will welcome Holy Cross to Case Gym for a Turnpike Trophy doubleheader with women's basketball on March 2.
This past season, the Terriers bested archrival Northeastern at a sold-out Case Gym and went on to earn their eighth top-five finish in nine years in the Patriot League. Familiar faces will grace The Roof with senior
