Swimming & Diving Set to Host 18th Annual Terrier Invite

BOSTON - The marquee home event of the Boston University swimming & diving season will begin on Friday (Nov. 22) as the 18th annual Terrier Invite gets underway at the FitRec Competition Pool.
Prelims will start at 10 a.m. each day while finals will start at 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and at 5 p.m. on Sunday. The finals will be broadcast live on ESPN+ each day. Live results will be available on the Meet Mobile app. A full schedule of events can be found here.
The men's and women's programs from Boston College, Fairfield and Massachusetts will head to Boston for the meet along with the women's program from Northeastern and the men's team from NJIT. Divers from Babson and Bryant will also be competing.
Modified NCAA Championship meet scoring will be used for all individual swimming events as well as relay events from first through 20th place. Bonus heats in swimming will not be scored. Finals point scoring will be 24-21-20-19-18-17-16-15-14-13 while consolation point scoring will be 11-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1. Relays will be worth twice as much as individual points.
Last season, the BU men won the Terrier Invite while Northeastern is the defending champion on the women's side.
