LEWISBURG, Pa. - The Boston University women's golf team finished runner-up at the 2024 Patriot League Championship on Sunday at Bucknell Golf Club, posting a score of 891 for the three-round tournament. Navy won the title by nine strokes.

Junior Christy Chen finished third overall at plus-10 (77-69-74--220) and was named the Patriot League Golfer of the Year for the second consecutive year.

Sophomore Annika Manjunath secured a fourth-place finish with a plus-13 (75-76-72--223) and freshman Amy Han was named the Patriot League Rookie of the Year following a 14th-place finish at plus-21 (73-84-74--231).

BU opened the day three strokes behind the Midshipmen and the deficit grew to nine on the back nine before the Terriers whittled it down to four before Navy closed it out. 

Junior Victoria Takai just missed out on a top-10 finish, tying for 11th at plus-18 (76-77-75--228) and classmate Meiqi Gao finished 13th at plus-20 (79-73-78--230).

Freshman Hibiki Adachi ended the tournament in a tie for 28th, shooting an 85-78-78--241 (+31).

Manjunath's 72 was BU's top score on Sunday and only one other golfer in the field shot a lower final round.
