DELMAR, N.Y. - The Boston University women's golf team posted a season-best 286 on Sunday in the opening round of at the UAlbany Great Danes Invitational and are at the top of the leaderboard entering Monday's final round.
The Terriers lead the 14-team field and are six strokes ahead of second-place UAlbany (292) and nine strokes up on third-place St. John's (295).
Junior
Amy Han shot a 1-under 69 - her low round as a Terrier - and is in second place, two strokes off the lead. Senior
Annika Manjunath posted an even-par 70 and is in third place among the 80 golfers in the tournament.
Freshman
Sophia Zhang and junior
Hibiki Adachi recorded a 73 and 74, respectively, for the team's other two scores while freshman
Wendy Li was right behind them with a 75. Zhang currently stands tied for seventh while Adachi is tied for 14th and Li is tied for 16th.
