Men’s Rowing Resumes Racing with Eastern Sprints on Sunday

BOSTON – Competing for the first time in three weeks, the Boston University men's rowing program prepares for the Eastern Sprints on Sunday, May 18 in its penultimate race of the 2025 spring season.
The 78th edition of the sprints will air live on Overnght.com, which requires a paid subscription. Live results can be found on the Quinsigamond Rowing Association's website. Fans looking to attend the regatta can visit the Eastern Sprints page on the IRA's website using the link above.

- 8:00 a.m. – Fourth Varsity 8+ (Heat 1)
- 8:40 a.m. – Third Varsity 8+ (Heat 3)
- 9:30 a.m. – Varsity 8+ (Heat 3)
- 10:30 a.m. – Second Varsity 8+ (Heat 3)
- 1:54 p.m. and 2:04 p.m. – Fourth Varsity 8+ finals
- 2:38 p.m., 2:48 p.m. and 2:58 p.m. – Third Varsity 8+ finals
- 3:40 p.m., 3:50 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. – Second Varsity 8+ finals
- 4:34 p.m., 4:44 p.m. and 4:54 p.m. – Varsity 8+ finals
- Varsity 8+ - 10th
- Second Varsity 8+ - ninth
- Third Varsity 8+ - ninth
- Fourth Varsity 8+ - eighth
- BU took part in the Lake Morey Invite, hosted by Dartmouth, up in Fairlee, Vt. from April 26-27, Competing against five top-20 programs.
- The Terrier Varsity 8+ snagged a win over Columbia to win the revived Lusins Cup, marking the 10th consecutive triumph over the Lions.
- The Second Varsity 8+ earned wins over Wisconsin and Columbia, while the Third Varsity 8+ was victorious over Georgetown and Wisconsin.
- BU's Varsity 8+ poll remained 13th in the Week 5 edition of the IRCA/IRA Men's Poll.
- The Second Varsity 8+ was 12th.
- The Third and Fourth Varsity 8+ crews sport the highest team rankings at 11th.
- The Terriers will break until the 2025 IRA National Championship Regatta, which takes place from May 30 to June 1 on the Cooper River in Cherry Hill, N.J.
