Returning for a 17th year, the Terrier Twelve recognizes the top achievements of Boston University teams and student-athletes from the previous year. Check back each Monday and Wednesday this summer as we unveil this year's Terrier Twelve on GoTerriers.com.
Coming in at number 10 in this year's Terrier 12 are the record-breaking academic achievements from the BU student-athlete body in 2024-25.
BU student-athletes once again broke records in the classroom, posting a department grade-point average of 3.43 for the 2024-25 academic year while setting a new semester mark with a 3.44 in the spring. Over 86 percent of student-athletes had a 3.0 or above in the spring with 56 of them posting a perfect 4.0. Women's golf had the highest team GPA for the year at 3.71 while the top men's team was soccer with a 3.54.
Thirty-five members of the senior class graduated with honors, led by four with summa cum laude accolades – Morgan Fagan and Erin Sullenberger of women's soccer, Andrea Garbo of men's rowing and Tomas Samuolis of men's swimming & diving.
Vera Sjoberg became the third Terrier to be named the Patriot League Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year after being named the top scholar-athlete in all three of her seasons.
