HAMILTON, N.Y. - The Boston University women's swimming & diving team kicked off its second half with a pair of wins, topping Colgate and Fairfield in a double dual at Linneberry Natatorium on Saturday afternoon.

BU posted a 128-113 victory over Colgate and outdistanced Fairfield by a score of 153-88.

Freshman Molly Barber set pool records in the 50- and 100-yard freestyles and anchored a pool record in the 400 medley relay along with sophomore Cambria Jewett and classmates Hadar Miller and and Kiki Rampersad. Barber swam a 23.21 in the 50 free and then turned in a time of 50.29 in the 100.

Senior Haley Newman was victorious in the 200 butterfly (2:03.73) while freshman Alayna Kennedy took first in the 1-meter dive with a score of 264.50. Freshman Danka Ndubuisi turned in a pair of runner-up finishes in the 200 individual medley and the 200 backstroke.

BU, now 4-3 overall and 2-2 against Patriot League competition, will return to action next Saturday (Jan. 17) when it hosts MIT at 1:30 p.m.
