March 9, 2026 | Women's Basketball
BETHLEHEM, Pa. – After garnering All-Patriot League Second Team and All-Defensive recognition a week ago, Boston University women's basketball senior forward Anete Adler earned a spot on the Academic All-Patriot League Team, the league announced on Monday morning.
Adler becomes the fourth Terrier in program history to be selected to the Academic All-Patriot League Team, and first since Maggie Pina in 2023. She is the first Terrier since Maren Durant in 2022 to appear on three All-Patriot League postseason teams.
To be considered for the Academic All-Patriot League Team, nominees must a cumulative GPA of at least 3.20, be a starter or key contributor in her sport and have completed at least one academic year at her institution. Additional factors considered included on-court accolades, academic honors and community service efforts.
Enjoying a career year as a senior, the Estonia native ranks top 10 in the conference with 14.7 points per game (sixth) on 49.2 percent shooting (second) and 47 blocks (first). She has racked up seven games this season with 20 or more points, most recently dropping a team-high 21 points to power BU to a first-round victory over American in the Patriot League Tournament on March 7.
In the classroom, Adler is graduating in May with a degree in business administration and management from the Questrom School of Business.
