Terrier Second Varsity 8+ Named Patriot League Boat of the Week

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Boston University women's rowing Second Varsity 8+ was selected as the Patriot League boat of the week, the league announced Tuesday.
The boat, coxed by sophomore Laura Leong and stroked by freshman Marta Carfagni finished second in its race against No. 9 Brown and Columbia with a time of 6:31.25. Brown took first in the race, but BU finished ahead of Columbia by 6:38.51
Leong, Carfagni, juniors Elisabeth Arnason, Ada Giraldo, Grace Wellington and Sophia Williams, sophomore Sarah Stacey and freshmen Marta Carfagni, Louise Forrester and Emily Over made up the crew.
BU will race again on Saturday (April 25) against Rhode Island and Delaware out in Worcester, Mass.
