Eshuis Named to Academic All-Patriot League Team

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Junior Ingrid Eshuis of the Boston University women's rowing team was named to the Academic All-Patriot League team, the league announced Thursday.
Eshuis is pursuing a degree in political science with a minor in French studies and boasts a 3.630 GPA. The junior was recently named to the First Team All-Patriot League after helping the Varsity 8+ win Boat of the Year for the third consecutive year at the Patriot League Championship. She has rowed in the Varsity 8+ in each of her three years at the league meet, helping BU claim the Patriot League crown all three times.
In the regular season, she was part of the boat that accrued Boat of the Week honors after finishing ahead of No. 12 Rutgers at Eastern Sprints. Eshuis also assisted BU in winning the Council Cup over Northeastern for the first time in three years. This is the St. Catharines, Ont., native's first Academic All-Patriot League selection.
Eshuis and the Terriers will travel to Lake Lanier Olympic Park in Gainesville, Ga., for the NCAA Championships on Friday, May 29.
