Ran three years of track and cross county at St. John Bosco High School ... Captained both the track and cross country teams as a senior and as a junior ... Won the team's Most Improved Award in track as a senior after he was a CIF SS finalist in the 3200m run and also earned All-Trinity League honors thanks to a second-place finish in the 3200m run ... During his senior year of cross country, he was named to the Press Telegram Dream Team and finished 35th at the state meet ... Earned 2017 All-Trinity League accolades after finishing fourth at the conference cross country meet ... Won the 2017 Sunny Hills/Wayne Walker Invitational and was named Most Valuable Runner ... As a junior, earned All-Trinity League honors in cross country after finishing 10th at the league meet ...
