Ran three seasons of track and cross country at Desert Vista High School ... Won three straight state cross country titles, including in 2017 as a senior captain ... Also led Desert Vista to the first berth of an Arizona boys team at the Nike Cross Nationals, where they finished eighth ... At the 2018 state track meet, anchored the second-place 4x800m relay team to lead Desert Vista to its first state title in three years ... Also finished sixth in the 1600m run, fourth in the 3200m run and third in the 800m at the state meet ... Helped lead Desert Vista to a runner-up finish in 2017 thanks to a pair of third-place finishes (1600m, 3200m) and a sixth-place performance in the 800m run ...
