BU Athletic Hall of Fame Unveils Class of 2017 | Purchase Tickets for Induction Banquet

May 25, 2017 - The Boston University Athletic Hall of Fame will hold its 52nd induction banquet in November, honoring a Class of 2017 that covers four sports and includes two longtime members of the department's staff. Terrier All-Americans Bob Danville '82 (men's track & field), Matt Gilroy '09 (men's hockey), Robyn Kenney '01 (field hockey) and April Setterlund '11 (softball) will be joined by longtime distance running coach Bruce Lehane and former administrator Dick Fecteau '51 in this year's class, which will officially be inducted on Nov. 4, 2017, in the Francis Burke Club Room at Agganis Arena.

51st BU Athletic Hall of Fame Class Announced

Jan. 22, 2016 - The Boston University Athletic Hall of Fame will hold its 51st induction banquet in May, honoring a Class of 2016 that covers six sports and includes the Hall's first-ever administrator, as announced today by Assistant Vice President and Director of Athletics Drew Marrochello. Longtime sports information director Ed Carpenter will be joined by Terrier greats Sarah Dalton `09 (women's lacrosse), Jamie Haas `05 (softball), Mark Kimball `82 (men's cross country, track & field), Florian Mennigen `06 (men's rowing) and Mark Seals '89 (football) in this year's class, which officially will be inducted on May 21, 2016, at the Metcalf Trustee Center on the ninth floor of the Questrom School of Business at One Silber Way.


50th BU Athletic Hall of Fame Class Announced

Jan. 16, 2014 - The Boston University Athletic Hall of Fame will reach a milestone this year with its 50th induction banquet, and it comes with an impressive six-member class that spans three decades and five sports. John Curry, Jay Hillman, Bob Speight, Pam Spuehler, Katie Terhune and Alyssa Trudel will make up the Class of 2014.


Boston University Hall of Fame to Induct Six Terriers in 2012

Feb. 2, 2012 - Six different teams will have new additions to the Boston University Athletic Hall of Fame with Jessica Alcorta, Troy Billings, Nick Bone, Carnell Henderson, Chrissy Lombard and Christine Stief making up the Class of 2012, Assistant Vice President and Director of Athletics Mike Lynch announced Thursday afternoon. The 49th induction banquet will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2012, at 5:30 p.m. in the Trustees' Ballroom on the ninth floor of the BU School of Management.


Six Terriers to be Inducted into Boston University Athletic Hall of Fame

Jan. 26, 2010 - Former Terrier student-athletes Marc Fauci, Chris Helon, Jacques Joubert, Robyn King, Ben Okaroh and Michelle White will be inducted into the Boston University Athletic Hall of Fame, Assistant Vice President and Director of Athletics Mike Lynch announced today. The 49th induction banquet will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2010, at 5 p.m. in the Trustees' Ballroom on the ninth floor of the BU School of Management. In addition, four additional annual awards will be presented at that event.
 

Four Inducted into Boston University Athletic Hall of Fame

Feb. 26, 2008 - Former Terrier student-athletes Larry Davenport, Deidre Enos, Shawn McEachern and Andre Maksimow will be inducted into the Boston University Athletic Hall of Fame, Assistant Vice President and Director of Athletics Mike Lynch announced today. The 48th annual induction banquet will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2008, in the Trustees' Ballroom on the ninth floor of the Boston University School of Management. In addition, four additional annual awards will be presented at that event.

Four Former Terriers Set for Induction to BU Athletic Hall of Fame

Jan. 5, 2006 - Four former Terriers will be inducted into the Boston University Athletic Hall of Fame on Saturday, Jan. 21, when the 47th annual banquet will be held as part of Winterfest Weekend. Alison Caito (field hockey), Francis Okaroh (men's soccer), Heidi Steiber (women's tennis) and Chris Studer (wrestling) will be honored at the banquet, in addition to three special award recipients.

Four Former Terrier Athletes To Be Inducted Into Hall Of Fame

2005 - Four former Terrier athletes who starred in football, ice hockey and field hockey will be inducted into the Boston University Athletics Hall of Fame on Saturday, October 9. The induction ceremonies will take place in the University's George Sherman Student Union Building.

2004 - Six former Boston University outstanding student-athletes will be inducted into the Terrier Athletic Hall of Fame on Saturday night, Oct. 4, as the highlight to the 45th annual Hall of Fame banquet. In addition, three special awards will be presented to people in recognition of their accomplishments in various fields.
