MISSION STATEMENT:
The mission of Boston University Strength and Conditioning is to provide our student-athletes with a first-class training experience, grounded in our philosophy to best prepare each student-athlete for the demands of their sport.

PHILOSOPHY:
We are committed to providing a first-class training experience for our student athletes through a TEAM approach.
(T) Technology: We are committed to researching and applying the best available technology in the areas of training, performance and recovery into our training programs to ensure that student-athletes have a first-class training experience.
(E) Education: We are committed to educating our coaches and student-athletes through consistent communication to ensure better understanding of the reasons behind our training methodologies. We are also committed to collaborating with Athletic Training to ensure consistency with program design and implementation for optimal performance and team success.
(A) Application: We are committed to utilizing current scientific research to ensure the proper application of training philosophies to best fit team and individual performance needs.
(M) Motivate: We are committed to researching, identifying and implementing the best motivational techniques to assist student athletes in achieving their full athletic potential.
We aspire to be the standard of excellence in sports performance amongst our peer universities.
