He will be involved in all BU basketball operations. He assists in the Terriers[apos] recruiting efforts, practice and game preparations, on-the-floor coaching, scheduling, compliance, academic advising and counseling.
While at C of C, Ryan helped lead the Cougars to two winning seasons, recording an 18-10 overall record in 2005 and a 17-11 mark in 2006.
He spent three seasons as an assistant with Division II St. Anselm as the program[apos]s primary recruiter. He was responsible for signing two first-team All-Northeast-10 Conference squad members and a pair of NE-10 All-Rookie team members.
Prior to that, Ryan worked at HB Development from 1999-2001, where he was a personal basketball trainer for high-level athletes. He also work for Prime Time Sports, Inc. as the regional sales manager from 1996-99 and 2006-07.
Ryan proved to be a top guard for St. Anselm in the talented Northeast-10 Conference. He finished his career with 1,063 career points to rank 32nd on the school[apos]s all-time list and set a record for 3-pointers made in a single game (10). His 229 career threes placed him fifth all-time at St. Anselm.
His career honors include first-team All-NEC-10 and NABC second-team all-New England.
Ryan graduated from St. Anselm in 1996 after transferring from Monmouth, where he played two seasons with the Hawks.
