Seward[apos]s job responsibilities will include recruiting, coordination of scouting and video editing, on-floor coaching and individual instruction as well as serving as the co-director of the summer camps and Friends Group. Seward returns to BU, where he served as a graduate assistant coach in 2002-03, after stints as an assistant coach at Norwich University and, most recently, UMass Lowell. While at UML, Seward helped guide the River Hawks to a 21-10 record and a berth in the NCAA tournament Sweet 16 in 2006.
While at Norwich, Seward helped lead the Cadets to a 21-7 record and their first-ever Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Tournament championship. Norwich also made its third NCAA appearance in that season. Seward helped the Cadets to a 17-11 mark the year before and an appearance in the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division II Tournament.
Seward earned his bachelor[apos]s degree in physical education from Springfield College in 2002 and a master[apos]s in the same area of study, with concentrations in athletic administration and coaching, from Boston University in 2003.
He currently resides in Boston, Mass.
