Brendan Burke was named director of women's basketball operations in July 2012 after serving in the role of senior administrative assistant in the Boston University Department of Athletics since August 2010.
In his new role, Burke will coordinate team travel while assisting with the program's day-to-day duties.
"Brendan Burke is a tremendous addition to our staff," said women's basketball head coach Kelly Greenberg. "Brendan is bright, energetic and extremely team-oriented and we will rely on him quite a bit."
As administrative secretary, Burke's main responsibilities included providing administrative support for several Terrier teams - men and women's basketball, women's soccer, track and field, wrestling, women's lacrosse, as well as for Student Athlete Support Services (SASS).
The Pittsfield native earned a bachelor's degree in sport management from Endicott College in 2009 and is planning to pursue a master's degree in business administration.
Brendan currently resides in Brighton.
