Elizabeth Belanger joined the women's basketball staff in May, 2018.

In her first season with the Terriers, Belanger aided the team to its best finish as a member of the Patriot League, while matching its best record in conference play with an 11-7 clip.

Belanger arrived in Boston after spending one season as an assistant coach at Southern New Hampshire University. While with the Penmen, Belanger guided the team to a 17-12 record and the right to host an NE10 playoff game for the first time in program history.

Prior to her stint at SNHU, Belanger spent the 2016-17 season playing professionally in Osnabruck, Germany, following a successful four-year playing career at the University of New Hampshire, where she was a two-year captain and a three-time America East All-Conference selection. Belanger posted a decorated career in Durham, tallying 1,453 points, 703 rebounds, 180 assists, 107 steals and 48 blocks. She ranks sixth all-time in program history in scoring and eighth in rebounding.

A native of Acton, Massachusetts, Belanger graduated with a degree in kinesiology from UNH in 2016.
