After serving as the women's basketball director of operations in an interim capacity since October of 2016, Karon was named the team's director of operations in April.
Prior to Karon's time in Boston, he served as a student manager for the James Madison women's basketball team for two years, where he assisted the coaching staff with all aspects of practice, team equipment, filming and travel. While in Harrisonburg, Karon was also an intramural sports site manager for one year.
Karon got his start working in basketball as a college league dean at Camp Manitou for Boys located in Oakland, Maine, for three summers, and spent the following summer as a coach at Linx Camps based in Wellesley, Massachusetts.
Karon graduated from James Madison in 2016 with a bachelors of science in sports and recreation management.
