Tessa Gobbo

Tessa, a New Hampshire native, joined the Terriers' staff as a volunteer assistant coach in 2020. She started rowing at the Northfield Mount Hermon School in 2006 and then went on to row at Brown University where she was part of the 2011 team that won the NCAA Championships.
After graduating from Brown in 2013 with a degree in sociology, Tessa continued on to the US National team where she rowed in the 4- that won gold at the 2013 World Championships, the 8+ that won gold at the 2015 World Championships, and the 8+ that won gold at the 2016 Rio Olympics. Tessa enjoyed doing some coaching at Mercer Juniors and fitness training at the Special Olympics New Jersey while training on the US National Rowing Team. Off the water, Tessa is a Residence Hall Director here at BU.
